Roderick Darnell Smith Jr (Official Cujo) was born on December 17, 1998 in the Downtown neighborhood of Buffalo, New York raised in Niagara Falls, NY and began rapping at age twelve after listening to Meek Mill, Tory Lanez, Michael Jackson, 50 Cent and Drake who have heavily inspired his creation of music. He has been working hard towards where he wants to go in the music industry. Looking back on his time in high school he was the laid back quiet kid, he stated “nobody really noticed me”. Looking at his stage name, “Official Cujo” he used to think of the dog from the movie “CUJO” which was a beast which is what he says he holds the title of and then started rapping and everybody would call him a beast so he went with Official Cujo. Following his graduation from high school, he began to focus on music trying to make It his career. 2019 was a great first year releasing music he dropped 3 singles “Lover”, “Going Up” and “ Want Me To Lose”. To open up 2020 he dropped his first album “Letter From My Heart “ telling his life straight from his heart and then released “Jungle” and “Slums” mid year to explain where he is from and his struggles ending the 3rd quarter with a single “Loso World” about his older brother that he lost showing versatility that can can attack music at any angle and talk about his life and impacts on his life. It’s rumored to be that he will be dropping an debut album December 2020 and supposed to be his biggest project to take him to the next level. His future is something to look forward to, this young Star is going to shine once he gets his way into the light, be on the lookout.
