Kyle McLin, known by his artist name 3Dot K, is a rising musician with a passion for storytelling through music. Born in Baltimore, MD, and raised as a military child, he was exposed to diverse sounds and experiences that shaped his artistry from a young age. Early in his career, he performed under the names Rave and justKyle before officially rebranding as 3Dot K in 2022. That same year, he released I Love You under the name justKyle, marking a pivotal moment in his musical journey. In 2023, he made his official debut with the single Letter to You, featuring Santi! and J3MR, which gained over 2,800 streams. He followed up with his first full-length album, 3Talkin, in April 2023. Just two months later, he dropped his sophomore album, Suburban Tales, in June 2023, featuring J3MR, Santi!, and Mani, which garnered over 1,700 streams. The momentum continued with a deluxe version in August 2023, pushing his numbers past 3,400 streams. As his catalog grew, so did his impact. 3Dot K continued to release singles, including Me 2 U in October 2023, B.O.3. Christmas in December 2023, and Frozen in January 2024. In May 2024, he released his album Kyle, which became his most successful project yet, surpassing 5,000 streams. In an interview with Yung Rave Entertainment, 3Dot K reflected on his journey, saying, “I just want to show the world what I can do. I’ve always had that musical ear. I never thought about making music till I picked up the pen and started jotting down ideas.” He continued, “I always believed my music could touch people. Never in a million years did I think people would come up to me and ask for a picture. Shit, I be thinking I’m a normal person, but being an artist is a very humbling experience.” With a constantly evolving sound and an unwavering dedication to his craft, 3Dot K continues to push boundaries and connect with listeners through his music.
