Sanad Elghanai, known as Ahelghanai, is a Libyan musician, songwriter, and producer who defies genre boundaries. Born on July 7, 1996, in Seattle, he grew up influenced by rock legends like Pink Floyd and Linkin Park, as well as hip-hop innovators like Kanye West and Kid Cudi. He started as a producer and beatmaker, later evolving into a rapper and vocalist, blending hip-hop, rock, alternative, and indie into a signature sound.
His 2021 EP, Quicksand, marked a turning point, incorporating nu-metal, alternative, and even country elements. Tracks like “Dremamine” channel early 2000s rock, while “Speed Racer” infuses 80s-inspired guitars.
