Aj Da Great was born Antwain Kendrick on August 8, in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. Aj didn't have the best things or lived in the best neighborhood but if you ask anyone that knows him , they will tell you thats probably an understatement. AJ grew up in the "Sunland Park" area in Fort Lauderdale where he would see ALOT of violence, drug dealing, drug use, and poverty. At the age of 13 and after the passing of his grandmother, Linda Kendrick, Aj started rapping.
