Almira Zaky

Almira Zaky is an international Indonesian-American recording artist from Virginia and the greater DC region, redefining representation in Western media. Blending 90’s/2000’s R&B with modern pop, her powerful vocals and heartfelt lyrics reflect both her Indonesian roots and American upbringing. A former contestant on NBC’s American Song Contest and a TEDx speaker at Johns Hopkins University, Almira has performed on global stages including the Miss Universe Indonesia 2024 Gala Dinner and Pharrell Williams’ Something in the Water festival. In late 2025, she went viral after performing on Kai Cenat’s “Mafiathon 3,” the largest Twitch stream in the world. With a mission “to become the person her younger self needed,” Almira continues to inspire a new generation across Southeast Asia and the U.S. Beyond music, she leads free youth songwriting workshops, including a recent initiative with Timbaland’s Beatclub, empowering young creatives through music education. With a new EP slated for release later this year, Almira Zaky is an artist to watch in 2026.
