About
Always Happy Hour is an American indie band formed in NY 2020. The group consists of Chris Ibarra & Urim Sejdiu.
Always Happy Hour began originally as a duo by Chris and Charles Reisman in January of 2020. They wanted to create music while they were on break from college. They posted their first song "Voicemail" to SoundCloud. Then the next night they posted "L.A.C.E." as their second song!
Ever since then the two haven’t made music together in 2 years! 2022, Chris’ passion for AHH never left. He wanted to bring the duo back! Charlie was 100% down and had a great idea to invite Urim and Dom to make it a full group! Chris began creating and revamping all their social media accounts! The boys met in "Lab 6132" which became their first studio! They began working on an indie cover of "She Has A Way" by Bobby "O"!
In September 2022, Chris and Urim began working on another song called "AUGUST". It's a dreamy synth song with the most beautiful melody. While they were working on that, the two introduced "SOLITARY" on SoundCloud as Urim's debut song and the first post on Always Happy Hour after its very long hiatus!
In Jan. of 2023 the boys finally finished the cover of "She Has A Way" which is exclusively on their SoundCloud! Then in February they finally finished "AUGUST" which was their first song to have been streamed on 35+ major platforms! In March they posted "I'll Want U More" which was the first song under their own Label "AHH Records". May they release their third official single "WORKDAY". As time went by they worked nonstop on their album which released in November! Debut album called "Never Sad Days"
Always Happy Hour released their first single of 2024 titled "All Our Fights" which was also Chris's introduction into his solo project. Months go by without any news then in October they release their 14th official song "I've Been"! December they released "Young & So Dumb" which was their final song of 2024!
The year is now 2025! Always Happy Hour released their first ever EP with a very different genre than what they normally play! It’s almost like a Garage Rock vibe titled “Emo EP”.
