Antonio Sanchez Milan, known professionally as Antonio Milan (born October 28, 1999), is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, poet, and entrepreneur. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, Antonio began crafting poetry and writing prompts at 14, fueled by a passion for English and language arts, his favorite school subjects. By 15, inspired by his mother and uncle’s musical talents and his southern roots, he started writing music, drawing from an eclectic mix of SZA, Frank Ocean, Donell Jones, Patsy Cline, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Nicki Minaj, Solange, and Jhene Aiko. At 18, Antonio refined his vocal skills under coach Benny Meza at Brett Manning’s “Singing Success” in Nashville, quietly honing his craft. One night at a family gathering, his performance stunned everyone, revealing a voice that’s warm and soulful when singing and bold when rapping. His poetic lyricism, shaped by years of introspection, weaves introspective stories that resonate deeply, reflecting the emotional depth of his Scorpio Sun, Cancer Moon, and Pisces Rising. In September 2022, Antonio founded Forever Good World, an organization dedicated to supporting mental health, spirituality, and amplifying the voices of creatives and musicians. His entrepreneurial vision fueled his music with the 2024 release of his debut project, “SouthSide Lagoon”, through his independent label, Suburban Side. Recorded using wired Apple headphones, a vacuum filter, and Bandlab, the 10-minute project immerses listeners in a meditative, aquatic realm inspired by his water signs, as if submerging underwater. Described as “meditative, poetic, and hard-hitting,” “SouthSide Lagoon” earned an 8.5/10 rating from listeners, with tracks like “Fever Dream” and “SunnySide Up” emerging as fan favorites. “Fever Dream” captivates with its intense, witty lyricism and sharp metaphors, while “SunnySide Up” delivers bold, defiant energy with confident flows and vivid imagery, though some fans craved longer tracks to savor more of Antonio’s sound. This debut cements Antonio as a rising, multifaceted voice in music.
