Koda Tha Antique

Born in Baltimore, MD, Koda, has spent most of his adulthood in Philly, and spent his childhood between Baltimore county, Baltimore City and the countryside of Carroll County. His musical influences expand across a variety of genres from Rock, Hip Hop, Pop, R&B, Alternative, and Jazz. Having grown up in a jazz household with a DJ father his love for music developed at an early age. He began freestyle singing as a kid, while also being constantly in and out of school bands and choirs throughout elementary and middle school. Koda began to write in 2015 due to his love of Movies/stories which quickly translated to writing music and free-styling with friends for fun; however he didn’t begin recording until 2018. Inspired by the likes of The Weeknd, Michael Jackson, Young Thug, Travis Scott, Kanye West, Pierce the Veil, The Neighborhood, Yeat, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Drake, Brent Faiyaz, XXXTentacion, and Paramore; his style is uniquely his own. He achieved some minor Soundcloud success with songs like “Double Helix” (feat. Yung Jru & Lil 610), “Racks” (feat. Mahoney), and a solo single with his song “Madi”. Koda is a style-bending artist, with hypnotic vocals and melodic flows that leave you with a feeling almost indescribable to most. With recognition from Eli616, HBC, YTK, Lil 610, Rodie Senpai, Sprout, Saniyah Antoinette, Yung Jru, Sebastian Shah, NXG and many more. Koda Tha Antique is an artist to watch out for in 2024.
