About
Born February 11 1987 as Deon Phillip Rainey in Florence country South Carolina. After birth he was given away by his mother to his grandmother. Often feeling abandoned at a early age he discovered his artist creativity as an outlet. Over the years his artistry grow and spilled over into many forms of art. With art being his only means the escape reality he wrote poetry, sketch illustrations of various characters and landscapes and even had a book of shoe designs. By age 12 he was aware of his gifts and started to pursue an intest in music. Joined the band, learned how to play every precussion, the trumpet and the piano. Around the same time discovering hip hop after moving to live with his father, who is a huge 2pac fan. By senior year of high school he'd racked up a couple writers scholarship and would attend Fayetteville State University for 2 years before dropping out and moving to Durham to be close to his mother so he could get to know her. After eight years of bad relationships, death of friends and even being homeless, he moved back to Florence, SC. With the opportunity to hit the reset button. He cleaned up his life and turned back to what he first fell in love with music. After getting married in 2016 and having a new baby on the way. He started to take his music and talent serious. He started writing his first solo studio project titled "Blessed". The project touched on passed relationships, his marriage and his wife, life's struggles and other things. It was released November 9th 2016 on the DatPiff platfrom and shared thru social media. He wasted no time getting back to work releasing "A Night After Tomorrow" February 28th 2017 on all streaming services. Going more in depth on what the topic of his previous project.
