Ashthon Jones

Ashthon Jones is an accomplished R&B singer from Nashville, Tennessee. Now residing in Atlanta, Ga. She grew up surrounded by music and was heavily influenced by the soulful sounds of gospel and R&B. Her big break came in 2011 when she auditioned for American Idol Season 10 in Nashville. Her powerful voice and soulful performances immediately caught the attention of the judges and viewers, and she went on to make it to the finales. Her performances on the show were incredibly memorable and led her the opportunity to perform alongside Beyonce at the Nokia Center in LA. Following her stint on American Idol, Ashthon started touring overseas and continued to pursue her music career. Ashthon’s undeniable talent has led to her working with some of the biggest names in music such as Lecrae and Big K.R.I.T. She’s also written music for TV and films, and written records for some of the most successful music artists. One of Ashthon’s musical collaborations led to her winning a Grammy. From working with some of the hottest producers to collaborating with artists on hit records, and writing for some of your favorite artists, Ashthon has further established herself as a force to be reckoned with in the music world. In addition to her musical success, Ashthon’s also a judge on the hit music talent show SHINE which has recorded 3 seasons so far. She’s so popular on the show that they recruited her as a judge for their spin-off show, Shine JUNIORS. Ashthon has recently dropped a chart topping new single called “Pop Out” that has peaked #8 on ITunes top 40 charts in the US, and #6 on ITunes in the UK with led her a feature in the latest issue of BILLBOARD Magazine!
