DISCOGRAPHY REVIEW:
Freshman-"She Says I'm Boring" (2015), was the young producer's official entry-level masterpiece. He has emphasized in previous interviews that SSIB is a conceptual project based on a previous relationship; "an intensely expressive experience through beats".
Sophomore-"The Next Move: In Translation" (2020), was technically a collaborative project with his close friend Marco Bernard. The innovative collaboration was based on Marco's bestseller titled 'The Next Move', whereas Bandesla's role was to produce the soundtrack and audiobook edition of the book. TNM:IT was a 3yr production process, which drew Bandesla more closer to the soundtrack than he had imagined. He has proclaimed that this was his "most challenging, yet, most intricate body of work". When further asked 'why'? he continued, "this soundtrack, this album, took forever to curate considering the present circumstances at that time. I was preparing to move to NYC back in 2016 when I first started producing concepts for TNM, so that cut into the time. Being broke while living in NYC didn't help with having to go out everyday and push my personal agenda and grinding daily just to eat, whilst simultaneously working on this project. Additionally, I had fractured my hand back in 2017, so that stipulated a lot. In 2018, I got deployed overseas working 14hr shifts. I was exhausted physically and mentally, especially with having to put aside my personal projects and creative ideas because I was so committed to TNM. I cared a lot about helping my friend out; needless to say, I pushed through. After making 60+ beats and tons of sacrifice throughout the years, I had officially completed the 20-beat soundtrack in September 2018. Everything else was left up to Marco since I had completed my part. Fast-forward, 2019 I'm living back in Tampa, post deployment, Marco had already finished the book but we both felt something was missing. We then agreed to curate an audiobook/soundscape version of TNM. I had never pursued a project like this one before. That is what made it so intricate to me because I am such a perfectionist, and I wanted to pull it off right not only for Marco but for myself as well. And we did!"
Junior-"FL.O.A.T. Music" (2020) also known as "Flyest of All Time Music" is Bandesla's forthcoming third instrumental album. Allegedly, this 12 track collective is being forecasted by critics as "Bandesla's best work yet." This album was intentionally created to capture a particular essence and energy from his experiences in the UAE (hence the Burj Khalifa on the cover art). FL.O.A.T. Music is Bandesla's first project with multiple features. He has even included the star-voice that introduced him on his first album (which has become his official ongoing producer tag), Anja Child, to narrate FL.O.A.T. Music's intro track titled, "Int'l Bandz (USD2AED)". [Note: If you have been following Bandz since or before the SSIB days, then you would find this to be just as exciting.] Bandesla has even recruited long time friend (since High School) JP to make a special feature on the album as well as enlisting Marco Bernard to make his narration feature appearance on the same song titled, "In My Kaepernick Jersey / d3" [*super-elated*]. Fellow producer and good friend Landos, is featured on "Red City Rooftops" [this will slap], and JazzFM's Vocalist of 2020 awardee, Judi Jackson, entices collaboration on track titled "Majique". [rumor has it that this was a sample pulled straight from Instagram and impressive enough to grab Judi's attention].
