About

Hailing from the vibrant town of Fayetteville, NC—affectionately known as Fayettenam—Big Cas is far more than your average rap artist. A true creative force, he embodies the spirit of independence and versatility with talents spanning rap, beat-making, DJing, and video direction. Since launching his career in 2003 with the breakout debut Pain and Music, which sold thousands of copies locally out of the trunk, Big Cas has stayed ahead of the curve and built a legacy from the ground up. In 2004, Big Cas collaborated with Remy Ma at the height of her Lean Back fame. Their single Call Me A Gangsta caught fire, with the B-side We Ain’t Playin’ featuring Southern legend Pastor Troy further cementing his credibility in the underground scene. His 2005 mixtape Back 2 The Future, hosted by HipHopGame.com, racked up tens of thousands of streams and featured collaborations with legends like Freeway and the late Stack Bundles. The following year, Cas dropped his first fully self-produced project So Sincere—a DatPiff favorite that has become an underground hip-hop classic. Big Cas has never stopped evolving. Over the years, he’s consistently dropped music online, remaining experimental yet rooted in raw lyricism. In 2023, he released the critically acclaimed CA$ Digital, a forward-thinking album inspired by the RZA’s Bobby Digital. Embracing iOS apps, A.I., and futuristic production techniques, Cas pushed hip-hop into new sonic territories. Since then, he’s released several diverse and impactful projects including: • Street Money • Quantum • DreamVillan • The Karlton Bank$$$ LP • Horse Power • The Sauce (an instrumental album of original beats) And now in 2025, he returns with The Summer of CA$, a bold, celebratory, and thought-provoking body of work that continues to push creative boundaries. Outside the booth, Big Cas is also the visionary behind BigCas910 TV on YouTube. Using only his iPhone, he shoots, edits, and directs music videos, interviews, and live performance footage—not just for himself, but for other rising artists across the region. His eye for capturing authentic moments gives his content a raw, street-documentary feel that keeps fans locked in. A respected OG in the scene, Big Cas has had a major influence on younger generations of Fayetteville talent. His early mentorship of Rain910—who later became Music Director for the Ultimate Rap League—is just one example of his impact. When you hear names like J. Cole and Morray, think Fayettenam. And when you think Fayettenam, think Big Cas. With each release, Big Cas continues to redefine what it means to be an independent artist. Whether through music, visuals, or mentorship, he’s proving that the underground can still shake the industry. The Summer of CA$ is out now on all streaming platforms. Follow @BigCas910 on all social platforms to stay tapped in with his journey and ever-evolving catalog.
