About
Blak Los is a Brooklyn born Producer/Songwriter and one half of The Brooklyn Dodgaz. He started making noise on the drums at age 3, and made his first beat at 13. Being the son of a pastor gave him access to instruments and seasoned musicians. Oddly, Blak Los never actually learned to read music. Creating and arranging melodies was always first nature to him.
As time passed, he studied all genres of music. “I never want to be boxed in. I never want to tell an artist or client, ‘That’s not the kind of music I do..’ I want to provide every sound possible. And if the sound doesn’t exist, let’s create it!!..” - Blak Los.
Los has produced many short film soundtracks, and is currently working on his own film. In 2020, he was featured as a drummer in the HBO Documentary “Between The World and Me”. Weeks prior, “1955” (Bklyn Dodgaz) with Fidel Fresco was released.
Los wasted no time dropping his first solo single. “White Smoke” is the consecration speech and first single from the LP “Sede Vacante” (not released). Not too long after, the witty groove “Soul Clap”, that he also produced.
His last vocal submission to Hip Hop was titled “Rico and Da Reble”. This also served as an introduction of Yahuweh Da Reble, an energy filled artist with no musical boundaries.
