Atlanta Grit. Dominican Fire.
CAPIITOL doesn’t stand between Atlanta and the Dominican Republic—he commands both.
Born in East Point and shaped by College Park, Forest Park, and San Pedro de Macorís, CAPIITOL is a Dominican-American Latin trap artist whose music carries the grit of Atlanta, the rhythm of the Caribbean, and the ambition of someone determined to build a legacy. His sound fuses hard-hitting Southern trap, reggaeton energy, Dominican flavor, and bilingual lyricism into music that feels authentic in either language.
Music was in his blood before he ever entered a studio. The son of Atlanta’s first Latin DJ and founder of the Reggaecrukaton movement, CAPIITOL’s earliest musical memories were made beside his father—his father playing the tambora while he played the güira. Those roots became the foundation of an independent career built through discipline, creativity, and persistence.
Since releasing El Comienzo Del Fin in 2008, CAPIITOL has continued developing an extensive catalog that includes Con Quien?, Tabaco y Ron, “Atlanta GA (aG atnaltA),” “Miedo,” “Tú Me Enciendes,” and “Banco.” His journey has included opening for Latin icons such as Daddy Yankee and Don Omar, along with performing before 25,000 people at Atlanta’s Peachtree Festival.
Beyond the music, CAPIITOL is the founder of Diamond Cutz Entertainment and co-host of InDaSpot, a platform helping bring attention to Atlanta’s growing Latin music scene.
Now entering his most focused chapter yet, CAPIITOL is preparing El Capitán Soy Yo—a statement of leadership, sacrifice, family, ambition, and everything it takes to carry the crown.
CAPIITOL isn’t following the wave—he’s steering his own.
De East Point para el mundo.
