The San Francisco California-born, San Diego raised rapper and musician, Michael “Cesar Belifonte Hollin grew up writing his poems and rap songs to keep himself happy and calm faced with domestic violence and a very unstable childhood. At the tender age of three, Cesar Belifonte resided in Alabama for two years with his grandmother and uncles before eventually reuniting with his mother in Dallas, Texas. “ It is a lot of things I don’t remember as a kid, but I remember when my momma came and woke us up in the middle of the night! My big brother and I. I don't think the best Christmas in the world could compare to that day!" Cesar discovered his passion for music listening to the likes of LL Cool J and DMX which had helped him hone his musical talents. At age 7, Cesar was placed in a foster home and continued with his craft which was writing poetry at that time. Cesar’s happiness was taken away but not his rhyming prowess. He used music as a source of joy, inspiration, and strength threw out his childhood. Cesar got hold of a rhyming dictionary at a early age, unleashing his vibes and later ditching the book in his early teens! He developed himself and subtly mastering a unique technique which he learned from a friend Timothy Collins Jr. “Tim Gutta taught me a very unique tool that I will use for the rest of my life. I haven't written a song in over 2 years thanks to Gutta.” Cesar Belifonte rich blend of rhyme grasp alongside his technique took his rap to a whole different level. Today, Cesar’s talent is sought after by many in the music industry. He has written several R&B songs and ghostwritten for several others. A lifelong music lover, Cesar has devoted his whole being to the art. As he continues to rise in both fame and appeal, Cesar looks forward to inspiring artists to take up the mantle and pursue their dreams with relentless zeal.
