About

Her name is "Chants" , Dmx named her on the set of the movie "Angel". She is an Artist, Producer, Engineer and a Songwriter. Chants is from New York City but attended S.C.P.A. The School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati Ohio. She is the first and only creator to Win 3 years concurrent Corbett-Mayerson Awards in all Three major categories; Writing, Art and Dance. After her former manager, Randy Acker helped her create her original sound and gave her a Headstart in the industry she decided to take the Independent route. She went on tours that she funded and promoted with her own money through her Independent Label Real Wreckords Inc. She is a Hustler. She's always been a Dope Boys Girlfriend. Her options as an R&B singer/writer were great along with the tours she funded for Master P, Lil Romeo, B2K and IMX until her husband was brutally murdered in her home. It's taken Chants a long time to return to the Music Industry after that tragedy. Chants is returning with all the experience to offer along with her original sound that will bring the healing and balance that listeners are ready to embrace! The Chants sound is purposely reminiscent of the 90's and is influenced by Artists such as Sade, Aaliyah and TLC. She is fascinated by Classic Street Culture Artists such as Diana Ross, Stephanie Mills and Evelyn Champagne King. Chants also grew up studying Iconic performers like Michael Jackson and Prince. Writing sets her free. Chants has been performing all of her life and is excited to touch the stage and connect with her fans that have missed her across The World. You can find her lyrics somewhere online. In Loving Memory of Ras Michael Sandford ❤️
