Chef Lex - The Musician and Chef
Born November 29th 1990; rapper, singer, song writer and chef.
From a young age, Chef Lex was entranced by the power of music and its ability to connect people from all backgrounds. Growing up, she spent countless hours lost in listening to music or jotting her thoughts as poems that would later become songs. Her profound dedication led to her first performance at a Secondary school talent show while she attended Christ Church Foundation school.
Inspired by artists such as Lauryn Hill, Sade, Erykah Badu and Earth Wind and fire just to name a few, her music features themes of Love, positivity and contemplative philosophy.
Lex’s passion for culinary arts is expressed through years spent in kitchens across the island, and entrepreneurial endeavours of music and food shows such as 88 Oasis and BLKSPRNG .
Chef Lex is more than just a musician and Chef; she's a symbol of the human spirit and a true inspiration to all who dare to dream.
She’s returned to the scene with renewed inspiration and zeal with her new single ‘Love Pangs’ which not only showcases her musical growth but her personal maturity.
