Chimzy Wali

Chimzinum Emmanuella Wali, also known as, Chimzy Wali was born on August 21st, 2005, in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. She began singing in 2023, inspired by her personal experiences, faith, and the vibrant blend of cultures in her Ikwerre-Yoruba heritage. A self-taught singer-songwriter and instrumentalist, Chimzy started writing and composing her own songs as well as singing cover songs (of other artists) with her piano and guitar. In 2024, she began sharing her music independently on streaming platforms, showcasing a sound that mixes R&B, pop, gospel and afrobeats. Her lyrics often explore themes of love, healing, identity, and hope—reflecting her deep connection to God and her journey as a Nigerian singer. She released her debut multi-version album Pop and R&B Vibes in 2025, introducing audiences to her emotional storytelling and genre-blending style. Alongside her music, she also writes Christian fiction and inspirational books, using both art forms to inspire and uplift others. Still early in her journey, Chimzy Wali continues to grow her fanbase through heartfelt releases, a strong online presence, and a clear mission: to spread messages of faith, light, and truth through her voice.
