CJ is an accomplished Entertainer releasing new music in 2024. CJ debuted his music at World Pride 2019 opening for Kristine W, Deborah Cox, 2019 NYFW and was the Guest Artist for the 2019 Youth Activist Hidden Hero Awards, presented by The Andrew Goodman Foundation. In terms of musical style, CJ seamlessly blends cinematic grandeur with infectious rhythms inspired by his culture, career and the NYC UnderGround Dance Club Scene, entrancing amalgamation of storytelling and vibrant new energy. CJ Tyson's songwriting style, influenced by Roisin Murphy and American Pop Music, intricately weaves together avant-garde lyricism and hooks with irresistible allure, resulting in a fusion of experimental SOUND and mainstream appeal. With a versatile background as an entertainer beginning his career at 17 with Sesame Street Live and then Broadway for three years at the age of 21, CJ's artistic wisdom and discipline opened the doors to work/learn/contribute alongside Madonna, Beyonce, Shania Twain, Taylor Swift, Ledisi, understudy for Nigel in The Devil Wears Prada slated for Broadway, choreograph for Fox's "I Can See Your Voice: Season 3", become a resident dancer for SNL, live his dreams ON 5 seasons of comedy, dance and celebrities on the hit pop-culture phenomenon Lip Sync Battle.
