Clem De La Creme

SoCal based experimental hip-hop and rap artist/producer Clem De La Creme defines what it means to break creative boundaries. With a defiant, eclectic sound stylistically rooted in hip-hop, but remixed with lounge, chill wave, jazz, pop, and glowing futuristic R&B, Clem’s patchwork of sonic textures, genres and languages (namely English, Spanish and Mandarin) underscore his fiercely global, truly unique brand of hip-hop. Clem’s childhood was a creative one. From playing multiple instruments, to bronze casting for sculptures, to writing poetry and rhymes, an artistic career had always been on the cards - but it was the moment he stepped up to freestyle at an open mic night that unlocked his future as a hip-hop artist. From Chicago to Buenos Aires to Shanghai, Clem’s independent music career has led him around the world, collaborating with different artists, musicians and DJs, performing at iconic venues and festivals. His musicianship even led him back to college - he completed studies in music production at the award-winning Point Blank Music School in London. Since then, Clem De La Creme has released exciting new material, most recently he collaborated with Electro-Funk producer SAË on his latest single ‘Feelin Your Vibes’. Clem also released his 3rd EP “Just Us.” on October 29th. Be on the look out in December for several singles featuring Hip-Hop legends Cappadonna, Killah Priest and Compton Menace. As a music producer, Clem De La Creme goes by the alias Grammashouse. On February 12th, to celebrate The Year Of The Ox during Chinese New Year, he released a beat tape of 21 original instrumental tracks that he provided as a giveaway to emcees who needed beats (they are available over at grammasworld.com).
