At 28 years of age, the very talented recording artist based in Knoxville, TN has been pushed to his utmost limits within these past 9 years as an MC, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur and music producer. Throughout his music career as well as his personal life, Jonathan Peak, the artist behind the moniker "cyan i", has struggled with being forced into a box of what he should be and what ethnicity he should represent. Kids throughout his middle/high school life would call him "white" because of how he dressed and how he would communicate with his articulate approach to speaking. Even at his music's earliest years, peers would laugh and mock his content, calling it "childish" or "not for your race" at times. However, despite the negativity and biased hate, Jonathan has only grown and became the true artist and talented individual God has created him to be.
