About
After closing out 2020 with four new singles, "Don't Come Home" leading the way as his first breakout record, Dallas Murrae has begun to solidify his name as an upcoming Rockstar from Salt Lake City, Utah. He burst onto the scene captivating an audience of over 250,000 digital streams in his first year as a solo Pop-Artist. Dallas finds himself not only having a fast-growing catalogue but also being reviewed by top industry executives as one of the most electrifying entertainers in the country.
Dallas began his career at the age of 14 years old when he was selected to compete in a national singing competition titled "Kidz Star USA" in 2012. He then went on to display his natural talents and take home the crown, earning him a major recording contract with RCA Records. It was then decided that he would take some time to grow and learn his craft from some of the greats in the music business. At only 16 years old Dallas got to work along side legends such as Justin Timberlake, Jonas Jeberg, Kid Ink, and Gavin Degraw.
With the knowledge and skills he had developed over those few short years, Dallas and the band went on a 27-city Six Flags tour to help promote the new season of the same singing competition he had one prior to that. It was following this tour that he would begin the process of transitioning into the adult artist he is today.
In early 2020 Dallas was cleared to released his debut record "Don't Come Home" and it set his brand bringing in 50,000 streams in its first week alone. Now being able to preform his own music, Dallas took off on with none other than, Mr. "Beautiful Soul" himself, Jesse McCartney. Coming equipped with a 5-piece band and one of the most charismatic stage presences you've ever witnessed, he was able to attract a 44% average retention rate from his live shows. This dominated the industry average as an opener being a mere 16% for most upcoming musicians. It was this expectational display of talent beyond his years that earned him a independent distribution deal with United Masters Records & Riot Tide Recordings. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic put a halt to this momentum in mid-2020. When it became apparent that the constant traveling and production was coming to a stand still, Dallas took the year to spend time with his friends and family. "... when the world looks like it does now, there are things more important than business and numbers..." Dallas wrote in an email to his team before taking his time off. As the world got back on it's feet in early 2021, Dallas and the gang followed suit to recapture that fast paced momentum they had prior.
