Deanna Mari’ Mack, rapper, singer, songwriter, and dancer, was military born (August 27, 1981) in the U.K. to an African-American Father and a Mulatto Mother from Jamaica. Growing up she was immersed in the sound of music, her father being a singer and musician and mother a dancer, taking the best of both of their worlds. Raised up and down the East Coast, her mother settled in Florida. Deanna Mari’ began using music as an outlet at the the age of 7 finding it the most intriguing way to express herself. She writes what she goes through, what touches her heart, what bleeds through her senses, what makes her feel good, what makes her dance...Deanna Mari’s music is a complete expression of who she is, what she has been through, and where she is going. Now a South Florida native, Deanna Mari’ started taking her music seriously when she won a talent show rapping with some college friends and she was picked up by a local record label De Ja Vu Records in Raleigh, NC. Later she worked with local labels in Florida eventually starting her own independent label, Dirty Dollarz Entertainment and performed under the name “Dirty Red”. She opened up for Yin Yang Twins, Trina, Swisha House, Lil Flip, Juvenile, and Pastor Troy. When she became a Christian she changed her name to “Sweet Melody” and began doing gospel rap but soon gave up her music career to pursue marriage and family. In 2017 she came back and produced her unreleased album “Lack of Love.” Now Deanna Mari’ is blazing a trail with her debut single “Flawless” released February 2, 2019. Deanna Mari’ will be releasing a new song every 2 weeks starting March 2019 up until her full album release August 2019. In less than a month of releasing her debut single, Deanna Mari’ has over 7,330 views on Youtube and over 2000 plays on streaming sites. She maintains her goal of creating positive vibing radio ready music. Her goal and dream is to travel the world doing what she loves most...music! ​
