Decisive Productions

Decisive is an independent Hip Hop and R&B producer hailing from the streets of New York City. A classically trained jazz saxophonist, this kid from Queens was heavily influenced by the sights and sounds of his surroundings during the Golden Age of Hip Hop. He was drawn to the rhythmic poetry and synthesized percussive beats of Hip Hop music. Inspired by his saxophonist Father from S. Korea, Decisive naturally followed in his musical footsteps. This journey led him to NYC’s All City Jazz ensemble, gracing iconic stages across NYC, playing throughout the eastern seaboard to Disney World, through the South out to New Orleans, sharing the stage with legendary artists such as Herbie Hancock and Wynton Marsalis. Decisive continued broadening his musical stylings DJing NYC’s club scene, expanding his repertoire to dancehall and reggaeton beats. A lifetime student of music, Decisive continues to produce beats across various genres intertwining theory with the art of sound.
