Born Dustin Aaron Mobley, professionally known as “D-MO 512”. Grew up in the heart of central Texas in early 90’s. Brought up to the sounds of George Strait, Alan Jackson and many other country artists. But as the years went by. Other regions and genres of music had become familiar with the young artist. Such as your New York artists:50 Cent, Ja Rule, and Jay-Z. There was also the Atlanta scene and California music scene respectively. But little did he know. There was a whole Texas Rap scene. Emerging in his very own state. From years before he was born. There was a sound of music that he never heard before. And that sound was known as Chopped an Screwed. So from 2004 to the mid 2010’s. D-MO was expanding his musical influence and patterning his own musical style around this unique laid back flow known as Texas Rap. In 2018 D-MO partnered up with another local Texas artist and began recording his own take on the genre dropping his first single: “Money 4 the City.” Although the two parties had a falling out. D-MO would continue on his own endeavor dropping his first EP “Da Money Only” in 2020. Which includes 8 original tracks and a “Chopped Not Slopped” edition by an Original member of the CHOPSTARS group under “Og Ron C”. Since then D-MO has been working tirelessly on new features and projects that will show his dedication and commitment to becoming a great MC. Known throughout the state and the country.
