Don Darko

Don Darko is an American Recording artist coming out of North Akron, Ohio. Since Launching his independent music career on August 21st, 2019 at the age of just 19 years old , Darko has distributed 5 singles and 2 mixtapes which quickly gave him a steadily growing buzz in his home city of Akron, Ohio. He immediately received a ridiculous amount of support from the local underground rap community , when he released his first single “SavageScars” which featured his friend “AlmightyJab”. “SavageScars” hadn’t been released for as much as 1 month before it would be aired on the radio. After the hype of his debut song being aired on the radio, Darko began working on his first mixtape/EP titled “Blood Red Moon In The Sky”. Darko eventually distributed that mixtape in January of 2020. After the success of “BRM The Tape” an the continued support of a genuinely loving fanbase Darko had the inspiring urge to deliver a sequel mixtape titled “BRM2 The Tape”. On May 11th, 2021 he premiered two of his most popular songs on the mainstream radio stations z88.1 & z107.9. That night, Darko would go on to distribute the highly Anticipated “BRM2 The Tape”. Within 3 months of its release, “BRM2” had reached an impressive 36.8k Streams worldwide. Darko has now released his debut album “CLOUD9”… Although, He didn’t promote it as much as the “BRM” tapes , he feels this album is filled with his best work that he has made up to that point in his music career. Since that release , he decided to give the cult die hard fans a third “BRM” tape titled “BRM3”. Darko had took some time away to recover from being shot and losing his bestfriend, and inspiration, “AlmightyJab” who was also shot an succumbed to his injuries. The next big project Darko will be dropping is titled “Wild Ones Live Forever” . This Tape is for his die hard , cult cultured fanbase. Ever since he could remember he has always been musically curious an drawn toward becoming an iconic World recognized artist. Darko grew up with a very wide exposure to music of all genres an adapted an ear for the art as young as age 4. He admired stars like Prince, Tom Petty, 50 Cent, , Nirvana, The Temptations, SnoopDogg, OutKast, Bruce Springsteen, Tupac, Eminem, an many other Iconic music legends from the past. With Darko rising so smooth and fast in the Ohio music industry , it will be no surprise to his rapidly expanding “cult-fanbase” when he begins a US Tour/World tour and has his music placed on billboard. Darko is definitely an artist on the way to the top and not slowing down any time soon. 💋
