Dre Hefner born Antonio Simmons is an artist, songwriter, and producer from Walterboro, SC, now residing in Florida. He has managed to use a similar formula as Soulja Boy by using social networks and taking advantage of the of the internet to build his fan base. Having the same birth date of the legendary Tupac Shakur and sharing the last name of music mogul Russell Simmons (although no relation), creates a certain appeal and mystique about his persona. Dre Hefner's music style can be characterized as rap and hip-hop, with a focus on expressing personal stories and experiences. He is known for his relatable lyrics and catchy melodies.
