Born in the City of Pomona California, Cali was exposed to gang life and drug use from an early age. He came from a broken home and turned to the streets for a sense of belonging. He found himself surrounded by negative influences which let him down the wrong path. He joined a gang and his teenage years and found himself involved with illegal activities. Being in a gang gave Cali a sense of belonging, but it also came with a dangerous lifestyle. Despite his missteps, Cali had always been passionate about music, hip hop, in particular. He will spend hours listening to Tupac Jay z Nas and E-40 even as he continued with elicit activities. Music begin to serve as a coping mechanism for him, a way to escape the harsh reality of daily life on the streets. Cali's love for hip hop grew stronger as he became immersed in the local scene. He began working on his own music, hoping to make it big someday. His dreams were put to a hole when he was arrested for five accounts of robbery. The gravity of his actions dawned on him as he faced 50 years in prison. Cali's experience in jail caused him to reevaluate his life choices. He knew that he had to make a change and turn his life around before it was too late. In the midst of his darkness, Cali found Hope and Life in God's Presence. He began to look for ways to express his new found faith and his experiences through music. Cali poured his heart and soul into his music becoming more conscious of the lyrics he wrote. He turned away from his old lifestyle and used his music as a tool to share his story, hoping to inspire others to choose the right path in life. Today Keith is seen as a mentor and advocate for youth in his community. He speaks at schools and youth centers, using his story to inspire and give hope to those who may find themselves in similar situations. Keith remains a significant driving force to the local hip hop scene, using his music to reach out to young people and create positive change. Keith's story serves as a testament to the power of redemption and the ability to change one's path with hard work determination and faith. He continues to inspire young minds showing them that their past does not define them and that they can still achieve greatness despite the odds against them.
