“Growning up in the fast life and dangerous streets of South Central Los Angeles and Inglewood, CA., American Recording Artist, Songwriter, Producer and Composer "Father Pen" just at the tender age of 6 years old has and was around music due to his father R.I.P (Jerry White) who was a song writer and producer of “Oldies” better known as “Blues”. As “Father Pen” grew up, he began listening to music with artist such as Michael Jackson, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Biggie, Tupac, N.W.A, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Fabolous, Jada Kiss, Juelz Santana/DipSet to name a few as a kid throughout school (Elementary through High School) etc. He grew a strong passion for music (Hip-Hop culture, R&B and Pop). To “Father Pen” “ music became an outlet for him, that kept him sane through foster care, from the chaos around him and his surroundings, which is how he at times express his life, thoughts, emotions and political point of views with his versatility through his lyrical content, amazing ranges in cadence change, substance, use of grammar, metaphorical stories he tells through his lyrics that his listeners and audience can bounce and vibe too!”
