PL, better known by his stage name FlyBoi Rich, (born November 30, 1986) is an American rapper. He is currently an independent artist/Ceo of Dopeish Records. Early Life FlyBoi Rich was born on the east side of Detroit, Michigan. Growing up on the Eastside of Detroit he grew up listening to music and playing sports. He was inspired by artists like Jay-Z, Tupac, and more who informed his approach to recording raps, taking great care to craft meaningful lyricism. He went to high school and began to learn how to produce, create his own complete songs, and collaborate with some like-minded friends. To hone his craft, he began to battle rap with his peers. He fell on hard times after graduation, getting his first experience with reality as he struggled with the 80s Babies collective. After a short period, he separated himself from the group and took on the name FlyBoi Rich. Career In 2016, FlyBoi Rich released his first solo song, “Detroit Dreams,” that amassed more than 200,000 streams in its first month. his first month. It featured his semi-viral hit, “Adidas.” With constant promotion and positive reception, he released his biggest single so far, “Anxiety,” that has hit more than 1 million streams, leading to him signing sync deals with a couple of companies.
