FMax is a spoken word artist, voice-over actor, and photographer. Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. Later migrating to London, England at the age of 11. Max’s creative pursuits loom when she taught herself photography during a family holiday in 2013 giving way to her turning images to poems and stories. With a notable style of her own, Max is versatile in her abilities. She is well versed in music composition, song writing and producing. Her influences range from the likes of James Fauntleroy, Nina Simone, Brandy, Frida Kahlo and many more. She has just released her latest project, a spoken word album; CLEMENCY: this multimedia project consisting of 7 poems – telling the tales of love, commiseration, mercy and reconciliation, which will eventually be accompanied by an anthology and some visual adaptations.
