Growing up around talented artist in his family and watching his big brother "Taliban Stef" consistently pursue his rap dreams. “Contrell” also had dreams of becoming an artist of music, so much like his brother. Raised by organized Chicagoans, he formed massive structure and respect. He became fast and well educated with everything he did. Being the 5th oldest out of Stefanies 7 kids " Contrell" was looked up to by his older siblings, including older cousins and friends as well. The knowledge and ambition he gives off, puts him ahead of his time. IT IS LIKE HE HAS BEEN HERE BEFORE! When finding his voice in the music game “Contrell” also looked up to other artist in his family, like his uncle Scony G, Cp aka (Ole Head Mazerati) and his cousins Micky & D rob. Being around great atmosphere of great music, and expanding his knowledge. "Contrell" was on a roll. He started getting his vocabulary on track by reading the dictionary and studying words he was given by teachers from elementary to high school. While mastering his craft and becoming a genius with his outstanding words and factual knowledge. Giving his audience "Food For Thought" is a must. He decided that "Food Fa Thought Trell" became a better name to describe himself. In fact, a few industry artist inspired his techniques as well. For instance,"50 Cent", "Twista", "Cassidy", "Nas", "Jadakiss", "Lil Wayne", "Kanye West" and "Eminem" was a big influence as far as doing music. When roaming the streets, and being a product of his environment "Food Fa Thought Trell" would rap anything that was on his mind. His freestyle game is uniquely remarkable. He would lock his self in the studio to keep from getting into street violence. “Food Fa Thought” has successfully mastered the street survival and the craftsmanship of music. This day forward "Food Fa Thought Trell" is consistently in the studio or being productive with his dreams so he can build a foundation and be notice from major sources.
