About
Frank White’s musical journey is a story of resilience, talent, and evolution. Born in Charleston, SC, and raised in Decatur, GA, Frank discovered his passion for music early, singing in church choirs and performing with his school’s ensemble. He began refining his craft at Avondale High School for the Performing Arts and later, after relocating to Mobile, AL, graduated from Davidson High School.
Music has always been at the heart of Frank’s life. From playing the snare drum to performing with dance and singing groups throughout high school, he showed a dedication to artistry. A turning point came when Frank appeared in TLC’s iconic music video for Baby, Baby, Baby. Though his role was minor, the experience fueled his drive to pursue a professional career in music.
Frank transitioned to Hip-Hop under the moniker “RuKuZ” as part of the group Action Figures. The group signed a label deal, but financial challenges led to its dissolution. Undeterred, Frank returned to Mobile, where he joined forces with Geno Wesley and Keith Proffitt to form the group Me & My Manz. Together, they performed across the southeastern U.S., including notable showcases like BayFest and events in Virginia Beach. Their independent EP garnered industry attention, including interest from Elektra Records.
Following the group’s split, Frank moved back to Atlanta and immersed himself in the music industry. Collaborating with notable figures such as Chad “Nitti” Allen (Nitti Beats), Don Vito, and Ian Burke—known for launching TLC, OutKast, and Xscape—Frank refined his skills in songwriting, vocal performance, and production. These connections led to collaborations with prominent artists like Eightball & MJG, Ms. Behavin’, and Young Joc.
Expanding his creative horizons, Frank teamed up with long-time friend Zeric Nicholes (Ze’) to form Electric Kollextive Groove. The duo explored deep and soulful house music, achieving international recognition and chart success in the UK for their innovative production and DJ sets.
Seeking a fresh perspective, Frank relocated to Fort Lauderdale, FL, to focus on his solo career. His upcoming EP, entirely self-produced, written, arranged, and performed, offers an intimate exploration of love, loss, and growth. It invites listeners to experience Frank’s artistry through deeply personal storytelling and rich, immersive sounds.
Prepare to be captivated by the artistry and soul of Frank White—a visionary talent whose journey continues to inspire and evolve.
