Emerging from the DC/Virginia area, hip hop artist and rapper G-Lo lives by the mantra of "It's not how you start, it's how you finish." G-Lo on why his music stands out: "The music relates across anyone who is or has gone through a journey, struggle…really any tough times, I mean, isn't that most of us?" From G-Lo's vantage, he explains, "I relate to all of you who have or are still going through your own, doing it through my music, listening and understanding the pain but most importantly, rising above it.
