About
G-Ride isn’t just a name; it’s the story of survival, strength, and soul that started in Latta, South Carolina. Born there and raised through every storm, G-Ride made her way to Paterson, New Jersey at just six years old, finding her voice in the sounds and struggles of the city.
By 25, she carried that journey over to Newark, still fighting for every ounce of love, respect, and belonging, and turning those battles into bars.
Inspired by hip hop greats like Biggie, Nas, Fabolous, Nicki Minaj, Lil Kim, Roxanne, and Kanye West, G-Ride doesn’t just make music, she lives it.
Every beat and rhyme is both escape and therapy, a way to turn pain into power.
From losing her innocence young to pushing through addiction, single motherhood, and always being the black sheep in her family, nothing was handed to her. She’s known betrayal and disappointment, overlooked, doubted, and forced to prove herself when it mattered most.
Through it all, her story became her strength.
Everything truly shifted when God blessed her with children. In them, she finally felt unconditional love and acceptance. Her kids gave her purpose, fueling her hustle and giving her the courage to put her whole story into her music.
Now, she rides for them, and for every woman and single mom grinding through tough times, feeling left out, or looking for a voice.
G-Ride turns scars into strength!
Her verses hit with honesty and vulnerability but always come from a place of resilience.
She hustles for her kids, for herself, and for every woman carrying a heavy load, showing that even the ones they overlook can make noise.
For G-Ride, music is more than a dream, it’s a safe space for the unheard, a place to heal, release, and connect.
Loyalty, grit, and real love define her, and every word is a reminder that no one is alone. Turn her up, listen close, and ride with a real one.
