The Artist, Composer, Songwriter, Vocalist and Publisher. Mother of 2, Granny of 10 and Other's of Wilson NC, where she was born as Jo. She have always been passionate and fascinated with Music. She started singing at an early age, and like most other's, she joined the church choir at the age of 7 just to sing. Growing up she performed in many talent shows, whether dancing or singing in Wilson NC, and The Tivoli Theater in Washington DC. Around the age of 15, She joined a group of Dancer's and Models, known as The Golden Boy Dancer's (WGTM - DJ/Bennie Moore) and Fashion Designer Tamechi Toney Briggs (Creator of the Hammer Pants, Principal Fashion Designer for Soul Train, Artist of the Song "Pork Chop" on YouTube) She sung background for the Band known as The Nasty Boyz, of Wilson NC. After that, she took a break to raise her children, and then came grandchildren. During this time she did sing in a Christmas program with Shaw University Community Choir accompanied by The NC Symphony, and Opera Singer Rozlyn Sorrell, in which became her Mentor. To be honest, what brought her back out in 2019 was an unfortunate circumstance, that turned her world around.
