Gaby Barzuna

Gaby Barzuna is a Costa Rican singer-songwriter. She began in the music business as a teenager, singing and recording vocals for television and radio commercials. Her first appearances on stage were in 2013 as lead vocalist of the progressive alternative rock band Mandala, in Costa Rica; sharing performances with other national bands. In 2016, motivated by yoga and surfing, she moved to the coastal community of Nosara, where she expanded her musical influences, collaborating with different international artists. In 2021 she was part of the book and project Nature of Surf Women, with which she recorded her original demo Aldeas en el Aire for the first time in acoustic format. This marked the beginning of her motivation to produce her own records and to share them with the world in 2024.
