GoodShip

GoodShip is an collaboration of producer and artist that do projects under the moniker. The idea was formed by Travis "Cockpit" Keyes. Started off in the early 2000's with the record label 21st Records. After recording several mixtapes for artists and touring the East coast, Cockpit did a release on the 21st Records label with Pauly Snubnoze entitled VICTIMOLOGY. Cockpit left the now debunked 21st Record label and started a production/studio company Fort Nod. After 2 years of going back and forth about releasing a project, Cockpit and Cappello got together to record the initial album GOODSHIP concept put together with the two that combine the teachings of inspirational music and Cockpit unique take on Hip Hop. The project took a bit longer than expected due to the Pandemic, however, the duo put together a instant classic. Dope beats and dope rhymes became the common denominator. The two managed to put a concept project out with no parental guidance warnings and completely clean. Yet touching all kinds of music without jeopardizing the integrity of Hip Hop as they know it. The combination of the two and with the aide of great musicians and dj's...the project became a masterpiece of music. GoodShip will be a project with new guest appearances album to album. The goal is to remain fresh and different on all releases....to do music that may be a bit out of the box...but it will remain to the core of our hip hop roots. When you have guys cut from the golden era of Hip Hop mixed with teachings...GOODSHIP HAPPENS.
