Graham Gjerme

My name is Graham and I'm originally from Minneapolis, MN but spent most of my life living in Nairobi, Kenya. Today I do most of my creative art work based out of Colorado, USA and sign my work under the artist name Graham Gjerme. In this day and age we are living in, to me, music is the only thing that makes sense. I find inspiration in different cultures and to name a few have traveled to: Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Norway, France, Fiji, and many other countries which have influenced my creative style and process. I create music because there is nothing else I would rather do than to use my God-given talents to be a light in this world of darkness. I specialize in Songwriting, Production, Sound Engineering, and Creative Visuals. My focus is using my music to share my perspective on issues such as: Racial Inequality, Child Sex Trafficking and overall hate that consumes our world. One day I pray that I will become reunited with the people I had to leave back in my hometown of Nairobi. I have been creating music for 11 years and find my style is a melting pot of genres and cultures I have adapted throughout my years of travel. I am motivated by love and the desire to build a space where artists of all walks of life can come together without barriers and grow as a community. I try to connect with people by having a simple discussion. Listening, hearing, and processing where someone’s point of view is coming from is the key to self growth. I intend for fans to experience honesty in my music, but also to experience the empowerment we can achieve when we start to focus on pure human interactions.
