Grandaddy Lo, born Iquan Logan, was born in the small town of Forest City, NC. With a single mother of 3, he signed to the United States Army at age 17. From writing rhymes out in the desert, and two deployments later, he left the military to follow music in 2017. 'Venting' the introduction to his new album, '4.40' tells his story of being a black man serving a country "where he ain't loved". Don't be mistaken, Grandaddy Lo brings all the vibes. He is, of course, your Back Roads Country Gentleman. With an adaptability to go in on any beat- he brings out crowd favorites such as 'Down Bad' and 'Kountry Boy' and is now bringing the next big HIT, 'Backroads Boogie', set to release on November 11th.
