Talented rap artist and songwriter Greg So Deep whose first song "Greg So Deep" caught a huge buzz in 2004. The single was released on the local TV station Access Granted and played everyday for a year and a half.
Before Fame
His first recording session was with his cousin Tone at the age of five. Greg was inspired by seeing his older cousin rap. Greg always wanted to rap. Tone gave him the confidence boost that he needed to express his feelings. Greg and his older cousin Tone recorded countless freestyles on his mini boom box. He wrote his first rap at seven years old. A close friend to his older cousin seen the fire in seven year old Greg. His name was Leland. Greg always looked up to Leland style of rap due to him sounding like one of his top ten rappers Nas. At the age of ten he took little Greg to his first professional studio session at The House of Trees owned by DX The Flex. At those session, that’s where he learned how to properly structure a song. He always learned how expensive studio session actually costed. Due to not having a lot of money Greg still found a way to record. He ran into a security guard named Rich at his local library and Rich was building his own studio and record label called Black Buddha Productions. Greg wanted to be apart of that growth so Greg started booking sessions three to four times a week. After school it was homework, writing music and then studio. Greg talent was undeniable and Rich had to record this young man. Rich had a deal with the local TV station Access Granted and Rich released the video of Greg’s studio session of his Single “Greg So Deep”. Due to Greg being in Battle Creek Central High School. The song caught fire!
Trivia
He recorded over 65 songs from 2004 to 2005 and picked the top 14 to be featured on his mixtape Greg So Deep. Later in 2011 Greg took all the songs off all streaming platforms and later released “4u2nv” April 8th, 2021
Family Life
He was born Gregory Drisker in Battle Creek, Michigan. He attended Kellogg Community college from 2013 to 2015.
He also have a son and a daughter.
