Chicago native HBKLilmarty has been passionate about music for as long as he could remember. The two people in his life that influenced his love for creating music at a young age are his father, and older brother, Debo. Growing up, he listened to multiple artists which influenced him to write music, and also educated him on how to switch flows to adjust to the beat. Marty emerged to musical success in his brother’s basement, where he would consistently write music, in addition to gathering feedback from friends and family. Being so motivated at a young age, this allowed him to start performing at local music events at the age of 15. His ever-growing love and musical inclination have helped aide him in developing his craft, which is further preparing him to become the remarkable artist he will be in the near-future.
