About
A Massachusetts native, Marcos Morales, also known as Hednoc, was born just outside of Boston in 1979. He's of Puerto Rican descent and began following his older brother's footsteps into Hip Hop throughout the late 80's and early 90's.
In the early days, Hednoc gravitated towards beatboxing. He began his music career beatboxing from the age of 8. He was influenced by artists such Biz Markie, Doug E Fresh, the Human Beat Box, and Razel. It was in the late 90's to early 2000's when he began recording his own music as both an Emcee and producer. Over the 2000's, he went on to work with artists such as J Rize, Livelect The Healer, Achillies, Kastro aka Iron Helmet and Stu Bangas, Kevlar, Rena, and groups such as Lost Reality, Squadron 574, The Foundation and Headwrap. He produced as well as worked as an engineer tracking and mixing or collaborating as a feature with other Boston Hip Hop artists.
Hednoc particularly had a focus on his technical career with technology. He received his Associates Degree in Audio Engineering and Production in 2003. He also worked extensively over 20 years in the Audiovisual industry as a Technician in both the Audio and Video disciplines as well as Operations and business management.
Hednoc currently resides in Sydney Australia and continues to produce, record and collaborate as a co producer and engineer with artists such as Achilles from Boston. He's also gearing up to work and support Australian Hip Hop artists.
