HOF $teez

HOF $teez​ is an independent artist who grew up on the southside of Atlanta, in East Point, GA. $teez was the youngest of four, born as Willie A. Young Jr, named after his father. Some days were better than others, but at other times it felt like they had nothing. From staying in hotels and constantly having to move around, $teez has no recollection of what it means to have childhood friends. Despite the circumstances, his mother did everything for him and his siblings. He believes those hardships and his mother made him the man he is today. $teez got more into music around the age of 12. While helping his mother clean the house, they listened to 90’s hip hop and RnB. With his mother being from New York he grew up to the sounds of Biggie, Jay Z, DMX, Mary J. Blige, and Faith Evans to name a few. In middle school $teez was fond of anything on TV that pertained to Hip Hop and began rapping. Oftentimes, $teez looks back and believes rapping was his escape from his reality. While hanging with his older brother he was introduced to trap music. A subgenre of hip hop music which originated in Atlanta. A few hometown legends that $teez listened to were, Titty Boi (also known as 2 Chainz now), Young Jeezy, Future and Gucci Mane. He hopes to portray his Atlanta up-bringing, unique flow, delivery, sound and style to create a new style the music industry has yet to encounter. This is just the beginning of HOF$teez.
