GENTO

Gabriel Furci-Argento, professionally known as GENTO and formerly known as A1gento, is a Canadian singer, songwriter and record producer, born and raised in Montreal. He is best known for his single featuring YNW Melly and Jay Maly titled “Miami Vibe” and “Where the sun don’t shine” featuring Kristina Maria, which gained major airplay across Canada resulting in a cross country tour in early 2014. GENTO’s interest in music and rhythm sparked at a young age. Which started off as him banging on pots and pans later thrived into his passion for singing, songwriting and composition. Coming from a family of musicians, he was always surrounded by talent. In 2018, GENTO started his venture into the US when he was discovered by Cash Money Records. Since then he has been independently travelling back and fourth to Miami to build on his relationships with world class artists and producers. Independently releasing his debut EP titled “IAMGENTO” on March 12 2021, GENTO stated that this is his most personal project thus far, meaning it does not focus on the party anthems that listeners are used to but it is to serve more as a tool for reflection when you’re taking a late night drive or simply are looking for something to lighten up your mood during trying times.
