Imma is a rapper from Pennsylvania making his rise in the midwest, the 21 year old has a wide variety of flows and extensive sounds through his discography and has been making a point to be versatile. At a very early age Imma knew that he wanted to make music but with his earliest influences being the likes of Usher and Ne-Yo he always imagined being an R&B artist. Nonetheless as his tastes grew with him Imma became more interested in rap and started to make his own music in 2017, only 5 years ago but you would never be able to tell by the way he strings flows together effortlessly. Imma has been making a buzz from the Midwest to the south with performances from Iowa to Atlanta and Texas he’s been making quite the impact with electric crowd work and performances you can not ignore. The new talent currently residing in Des Moines, Iowa has made a point to show his ambitions early and make a mark, saying that he wants to “Impact people with my music, I don’t want to be grouped together with other similar artists, my music is so different because I want to show my versatility, I’m always pushing myself out of my comfort zone.” Coming off of the release of “Good” Imma has been changing his sound completely coming with a nostalgic yet smooth vibe with lyrics that show a side of his life only expressed through music, his project is a breath of fresh air when put against some of the hottest songs at the moment. This artist is one to keep your eye on, with Imma making waves in his city already it won’t be long until he reaches others.
