Ira Dash

Hailing from the gritty streets of North Milwaukee, Wisconsin comes Ira Dash, a smooth, but witty lyricist who is known for his descriptive imagery and acrobatic wordplay. This 32 year old MC, wise beyond his years walks his listeners through what it's like growing up from the age of 13 in the brutal foster care system of Milwaukee. His voice of hunger can be felt on every song off his latest LP "Sippin’ Dark, Writing Poems" in which his intense metaphors leaves his fans wanting more. His influences comes from the 90's era which at the time hailed Hip-hop kings Notorious BIG, NAS, and Jay-Z. iRA has established himself as a serious artist with connections that reach put to Atlanta, New York and Virginia. Since his last project in 2015, Ira Dash interned as a audio engineer with B.o.B’s Label “No Genre” in the summer of 2016. In July of 2017, Ira Dash Won a Coast to Coast showcase held in his hometown of Milwaukee, WI with judges like Platinum Selling Producer DJ Pain 1 & DJ Homer Blow (Core DJs). Since then, Ira Dash has spent most of 2022-2024 in New York working on a new LP and building his Label Owned brand “RAWW SOUND”. Ira Dash released his latest project ‘Sippin Dark, Writing Poems’ in March of 2021. With ‘Sippin' Dark, Writing Poems’ out right now, Ira Dash is sure to make a splash in the year 2024 with his upcoming project "Dash Time 2: Time Shed"
