About
Isaac Rafael Aponte was born in 1993 in New Haven, Connecticut. When he moved to South Florida in 2003 ,His passion for music began at the age of 10 when he began playing the drums at church. He consistently progressed and became more focused on making music. Throughout middle school and High school, Isaac juggled pursuing music full time and being a dual varsity athlete (Basketball, Baseball). In 2007 While in middle school he created a boy band (CIA) and began writing music for the trio. He then continued working towards getting the group signed with a manager, but before any meetings could take place the group broke up. This is where he talks about how he fell in love with the art of writing and composing. “I love creating something from nothing.” After deciding to pursue college athletics to attend Johnson University Florida to play NAIA Basketball In 2012, Isaac put music on hold For his education. After 2 years of college in Florida , Isaac transferred to a college in New York , where he began recording demos. After a year of recording , Isaac had a few label meetings, but they were short lived. In 2015 Isaac Created “Rush Porter” a fictional character based on a young boy turned pop star. A story created in 4 parts. Since recreating his identity to a song writer / composer , “Rush Porter“ has become someone that can succeed in any genre. writing for artists was something he primarily focused on. “ I tried being an artist for a bit and it didn’t work, I love writing so it was a natural transition for me.” in 2018 Under the name Rush Porter , Isaac released a series of songs titled “Welcome 2 Hollywood” [Prod: Pushka, Jiggy] on SoundCloud That gained a bit of notoriety from a few Music executives, praising “Porter“ on his ability to “Create stories that you can hear.” His debut single “GO” as Rush Porter released October 25th, 2019 with United Masters, A global music powerhouse company launched by former Interscope and and Sony-Music President Steve Stoute. “ I’m very excited about the future of music, if we get this right then who knows.”
