J. Henry Live doesn’t just share the stage with fellow musicians. His eclectic love and appreciation of arts as a whole and the requited love and appreciation the arts community has afforded him with the opportunity to share his talents either on stage or in the studio with heavy hitters in the acting and comedy world such as Don “DC” Curry, Actress Jasmine Burke, a marketing commercial with Roxy Reynolds, Comedian Craig Robinson, Tiffany Haddish and has toured with comedic legend Sinbad – just to name a few. Additionally, with that deep, soothing voice that will stop the ocean’s waves, it comes as no surprise that he was cast as THE Voice of God in the 2020 film, The Garden – The Story of Adam and Eve. With such a knack for music and entertainment, it should come as no surprise that this naturally gifted artist hails from the Jazz Capital of the World – New Orleans! This Crescent City native has been wowing and wooing audiences with the sweet sounds of his saxophone for the last 31 years! First influenced when he saw Kenny G on Apollo playing, what he thought at the time, a clarinet, he was determined to learn. He soon found out it was actually a soprano saxophone and decided sax was his first musical love. After being recognized for having a true gift of music since the tender age of 9, J. Henry Live had the privilege of being under the tutelage and mentorship of New Orleans Jazz Great Pierre Poree and Brian Graber.
