J Mills

Jasmine Mills (born November 2, 1989), know professionally as J. Mills The Artist, is an American rapper and songwriter. Born in a small town in South Carolina, Mills was brought up in the arts participating in Artworks and The Gifted and Talented Program as a youth. Middle School Mills was apart of the school marching band front line and also played the flute. In high school Mills was selected to represent South Carolina on the Washington Youth Tour, after winning a writing contest. Mills attended the University of South Carolina Upstate where she studied Electronic Media and secured an internship with Hot 103.9, Columbia’s #1 Station for Hip Hop and R&B, the internship allowed J. Mills to create relationships, gain knowledge, and build major connections within the music industry. She began branding and building her fanbase as a professional makeup artist working for the 6 billion dollar brand MAC Cosmetics. With major insight of the beauty and music industry J. Mills also models and her single Walk Like A Mill is set to debut summer 2019. Stay tuned, she’s next up!
